Care
Care difficulty: BeginnerUsually vigorous and forgiving once established. Water the root material thoroughly, let excess water drain, and water again as it approaches dry. Avoid leaving the mount constantly wet or letting it stay completely dry for long periods.
Give it bright, filtered daylight, such as beside a bright window with strong sun softened by a sheer curtain. Keep air moving around the plant and protect it from harsh summer sun.
Keep it warm through winter and bring outdoor plants inside before cold nights. Water less often when cool conditions slow growth and the mount takes longer to dry.
